Job summary

Control Component India Pvt. Ltd. seeks a proactive PMO professional to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across Process Automation. You will coordinate initiatives to enhance OTD, lead times, and savings, while aligning vertical strategies with governance standards.

The role interfaces with operations, supply chain, CI, and engineering to deliver disciplined execution, data-driven decisions, and measurable improvements in KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
  • 5-6 years of experience in operations, supply chain, CI, or project management roles.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) strongly preferred.
  • Lean/CI tools training (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred).
  • Experience with Power BI or similar analytics dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate initiatives that improve key operational KPIs such as OTD, lead times, net savings, BCC savings, and supply chain performance.
  • Coordinate and track vertical-level operational excellence initiatives across three verticals.
  • Map bottlenecks, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions with stakeholders.

Job description

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and execution driven PMO professional to support operational excellence, and continuous improvement related initiatives across the Process Automation sector. This role will play a central part in improving operational KPIs such as On Time Delivery (OTD), lead times, procurement savings, Best cost country (“BCC”) optimisation, and overall process efficiency.

As part of the central PMO team, the role will work closely with vertical PMOs, operations leaders, supply chain, continuous improvement teams, engineering, and cross functional stakeholders to improve business efficiency and effectiveness and deliver better outcomes for customers.

The ideal candidate brings structure, drives accountability, and ensures disciplined execution of operations focused projects and transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Performance Improvement
  • Support & coordinate initiatives that improve key operational KPIs such as OTD, lead times, net savings, BCC savings, and supply chain performance.
  • Coordinate and track vertical-level operational excellence initiatives, ensuring consistency across all three verticals.
  • Map bottlenecks, identify root causes, and follow through with stakeholders to ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Support capacity, lead time, and process efficiency improvement programs.
Program & Project Management
  • Support the translate sector and vertical strategies into operational execution roadmaps.
  • Ensure operational initiatives in the verticals align with strategic priorities and constraints on operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support projects focused on operations, supply chain, CI, and productivity improvement.
  • Create charters, timelines, risk logs, action plans, and define governance cadence using PMO standards.
  • Ensure strong execution discipline and follow through with cross-functional teams.
  • Escalate roadblocks early to the project sponsor & key stakeholders, and support resolution with a bias for action.
Data & Reporting for Operations
  • Coordinate the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards for operations, supply chain KPIs, OTD status, and lead time trends.
  • Support operational data analysis and partner with Data/Digital/AI teams to improve usage of data for decision making.
  • Prepare executive-ready summaries highlighting risks, progress, KPIs, and recommendations.
Cross-Functional & Cross-Vertical Coordination
  • Create strong cohesion between engineering and operations to address gaps impacting OTD, lead times, or manufacturing readiness.
  • Facilitate sharing of best practices, standards, and operational improvements across all verticals.
  • Work with vertical PMOs to ensure synergy and alignment of similar initiatives across the sector.
PMO Governance & Process Support
  • Support the Sector PMO in standardizing operational project governance.
  • Improve PMO frameworks and reporting formats for operations and CI initiatives.
  • Promote disciplined project execution and embedding of PMO ways of working within operations teams.
Skills & Competencies
  • Solid understanding of operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical ability with the skill to interpret data and convert insights into actions.
  • Clear understanding of operational KPIs (OTD, lead times, BCC, savings, inventory).
  • Confident in driving accountability and challenging the status quo.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across engineering, operations, and supply chain.
  • Proactive, structured, and highly organized; able to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset; comfortable with ambiguity and complexity.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt style to different audiences.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 5 - 6 years of experience in operations, supply chain, CI, or project management roles.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) – strongly preferred

  • Trained in the use of and experience with Power BI or similar analytics dashboards.
  • Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders, including influencing senior leaders.
  • Exposure to working in cross-functional and multi-level environments.
