Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Network Engineer to standardize, optimize, and manage enterprise load-balancing platforms across on‑premises, private cloud, and multi‑cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP). The role emphasizes designing secure, scalable hybrid architectures and advancing automation with IaC tools.

The candidate should bring 8–12 years in network engineering, with at least 5 years in F5 engineering, and strong experience with F5 BIG-IP, Avi, HAProxy, Kubernetes ingress, and

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in network engineering
• Minimum 5 years of F5 engineering experience
• Experience with enterprise load balancers across on-prem, private cloud and multi-cloud
• Automation experience with IaC tools (Terraform/Ansible/Python) and scripting

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end hybrid load balancing architectures across on-prem, private cloud and multi-cloud
• Configure and manage ADC/load balancers (F5 BIG-IP, Avi, cloud LB)
• Implement Infrastructure as Code to automate provisioning and updates
• Manage SSL/TLS lifecycle, WAF integration, DDoS mitigation and secure traffic policies
• Perform root-cause analyses (L3/L4) to maintain platform reliability
