Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Lead Network Engineer to standardize, optimize, and manage enterprise load-balancing platforms across on-prem, private clouds, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). You will design hybrid load balancing architectures and administer F5 BIG-IP, Avi, and native cloud balancers.

Project responsibilities include implementing IaC (Terraform/Ansible/Python), SSL/TLS lifecycle management, WAF integration, and DDoS mitigation while performing root-cause analyses for

Qualifications

• 8-12 years total experience in network engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of F5 engineering experience.
• Experience with load balancers across on-prem, private cloud and multi-cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Automation and IaC experience using Ansible, Terraform, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end hybrid load balancing architectures across on-prem, private cloud, and multi-cloud environments.
• Configure and manage enterprise load balancing platforms including F5 BIG-IP and VMware Avi.
• Implement infrastructure as code to automate provisioning, certificate rotation and policy updates.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle, WAF integration, DDoS mitigation and secure traffic policies.
• Perform L3/L4 root-cause analyses to maintain platform reliability.
• Collaborate with multi-national teams and drive technology challenges across geographies.
