• Plan and deliver Panaah’s curriculum with energy and intention — every session should feel worth showing up for.
• Design and run project-based sessions that connect learning to students’ real lives and community.
• Provide one-on-one support to students, adapting your approach to where each child actually is.
• Build genuine relationships with your students — know their strengths and what makes them tick.
• Track student progress and attendance, and flag concerns early to your Mentor Coach.
• Foster teamwork, respect, and positive social interaction among students every day.
• Conduct regular Parent-Mentor-Student meetings to share progress and build trust with families.
• Do home visits to understand the full picture of a student’s life and strengthen community ties.
• Keep your classroom organised, resourced, and ready — learning environments matter.
• Follow Panaah’s safety protocols and wellbeing guidelines at all times.
• Maintain clear records as part of the centre’s monitoring systems.
• Attend and actively contribute to team meetings, training sessions, and reflection circles.
• Collaborate with fellow Mentors and your Mentor Coach to improve sessions and share what works.
• Treat feedback as a tool for growth — give it generously and receive it openly.
