Job summary

Cipla in India is seeking a maintenance engineering professional to lead preventive and breakdown maintenance of production equipment and utilities. The role focuses on ensuring smooth operation of HVAC, chilled water, boilers, and pumps, with emphasis on adherence to GMP and safety standards.

You will plan and execute maintenance schedules to minimize downtime, troubleshoot critical issues, maintain records and SOPs, and support installation, qualification, and commissioning of new equipment

• Lead preventive and breakdown maintenance of production equipment, utilities, and mechanical systems.
• Ensure smooth operation of HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, boilers, pumps, and utility equipment.
• Plan and execute maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot critical mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain maintenance records, SOPs, and engineering documentation.
• Support installation, qualification, and commissioning of new equipment and projects.
• Supervise and guide mechanical engineers, technicians, and contractors.
