Qualifications

• Experience leading mechanical design on global projects.
• Experience on commercial or residential projects.
• Proficiency with Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead, review, and oversee mechanical drawings, specifications, and calculations across all design phases with coordination from a US-licensed engineer.
• Lead complex mechanical system designs and analytical models using applicable codes and best practices.
• Provide technical direction and approvals for mechanical concepts and deliverables.
• Serve as SME, guiding engineering teams on technical issues and design quality.
• Develop and improve mechanical design standards, workflows, and quality control processes.
• Align engineering priorities with project goals and client requirements.
• Support multidisciplinary coordination and resolve constructability and technical challenges.
• Oversee construction administration activities including RFIs, submittals, and field issues.
• Mentor junior engineers to strengthen capabilities and design quality.
• Contribute to risk evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives.

PFB Detailed JD :

• Responsible for leading, reviewing, and overseeing the creation and quality assurance of mechanical drawings, specifications, and calculations throughout all phases of project design, in coordination with a US-licensed engineer.
• Lead and oversee complex mechanical system designs and analytical models using advanced knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and best practices.
• Provide technical direction and approval for mechanical design concepts, calculations, and deliverables.
• Serve as a senior subject matter expert (SME) by providing technical leadership and guidance to mechanical engineering teams.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve mechanical design standards, workflows, and quality control processes.
• Align mechanical engineering priorities with overall project objectives, client requirements, and business goals.
• Support multidisciplinary coordination and resolve complex design, constructability, and technical challenges.
• Oversee and support construction administration activities including critical RFIs, submittal reviews, field issues, and technical risk mitigation.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers to strengthen technical capability and design quality.
• Contribute to strategic planning, technical risk evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
