You will oversee deliverables, ensure compliance with international codes (ASME/API/ASTM/ANSI), mentor engineers, and coordinate with Process, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Civil teams for safe, on-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 20+ years in Mechanical & Piping within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery sectors
• Experience leading engineering teams in consultancy or EPC environments
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, and ANSI codes

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Mechanical & Piping engineering team, setting technical direction and ensuring team performance.
• Oversee preparation and review of engineering deliverables including equipment datasheets, piping specifications, layouts, and calculations.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable international codes and project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate with Process, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Civil disciplines for seamless project execution.
• Review vendor documents and actively support procurement activities including technical bid evaluations.
• Participate in technical discussions with clients and resolve engineering queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality engineering outputs aligned with project schedules and quality standards.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team, fostering technical growth and professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in Mechanical & Piping engineering within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams within consultancy or EPC project environments.
• Strong and thorough knowledge of industry codes including ASME, API, ASTM, and ANSI.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and stakeholders across complex, multi-discipline projects.
• Excellent technical communication skills both written and verbal for client-facing and internal roles.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools used for piping and mechanical design.
