Michael Page, on behalf of a well-established and rapidly growing manufacturer, seeks an experienced Manufacturing/Process Engg leader. The role focuses on change management, transformation, and operational excellence to support a major expansion in regulated, high-tech sectors.

You will drive layout redesigns, capacity expansion, and the adoption of Lean, Six Sigma, and modern industrial engineering practices across the plant, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable

Qualifications

• 7-10 years in Manufacturing/Process Engg or Operations Excellence.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, automotive, industrial manufacturing, or similar high-mix environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Industrial Engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead redesign and optimisation of layouts to improve material flow, productivity, safety and efficiency.
• Develop and implement capacity expansion plans to support growth.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and OE programmes across the organisation and standardise processes.
• Manage high-impact transformation projects from concept through implementation.
• Act as a change leader by influencing stakeholders and driving adoption of new systems and ways of working.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, supply chain, maintenance, production planning, NPI and engineering teams to deliver improvements.

Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Leadership, the candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading the redesign and optimisation of layouts to improve material flow, productivity, safety, operational efficiency and reduce complexity
• Developing and implementing capacity expansion plans to support significant business growth.
• Leading Lean Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Six Sigma, and operational excellence programmes across the organisation - standarising processes
• Managing high-impact transformation projects from concept through implementation.
• Acting as a change leader by influencing stakeholders and driving adoption of new systems, processes, and ways of working.
• Collaborating closely with operations, quality, supply chain, maintenance, production planning, NPI, and engineering teams to deliver sustainable improvements.

The Successful Applicant

Key requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience within Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Operations Excellence, or related functions.
• Experience within electronics manufacturing, EMS, automotive, industrial manufacturing, or other complex high-mix manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Industrial Engineering principles, and project management methodologies.
• Adept in leading capacity expansion, business scaling, plant transformation, greenfield, or brownfield projects.
