Lead Manufacturing Applications Role Overview

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Consultant with 5–10 years of experience in Manufacturing Shopfloor Applications and / or Aveva solutions. The role focuses on solution design, functional consulting, implementation, and business alignment, ensuring solutions effectively support manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Functional Consulting
   
   
   
   • Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture, analyze, and translate requirements into solutions
   
   
   • Drive fit-gap analysis and recommend best practices aligned with standard manufacturing applications capabilities
   
   
   • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams
   
   
   
   


2. Solution Design & Implementation
   
   
   
   • Lead end-to-end design and configuration of Manufacturing apps and Aveva systems
   
   
   • Define functional architecture and solution blueprint ensuring scalability and adaptability
   
   
   • Ensure standardization across deployments and adherence to global templates
   
   
   
   


3. MES & Aveva System Expertise
   
   
   
   • Lead implementation and support of: Aveva platform based manufacturing applications
   
   
   • Ensure solutions align with manufacturing processes and shopfloor needs
   
   
   
   


4. Integration & Digital Connectivity
   
   
   
   • Work with technical teams to enable:
     
     
     
     • Integration with SAP / enterprise systems
     
     
     • Connectivity with shop floor equipment, PLCs, and IoT devices
     
     
     
     
   
   
   • Validate data flows and ensure end-to-end process consistency
   
   
   
   


5. Incident Management & Production Support
   
   
   
   • Provide functional expertise for manufacturing apps issues impacting production
   
   
   • Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions
   
   
   • Ensure minimal production disruption and faster issue resolution
   
   
   
   


6. Governance & Standardization
   
   
   
   • Implement standard methodologies, templates, and best practices
   
   
   • Ensure consistency across global manufacturing apps implementations
   
   
   • Support data governance, lifecycle management, and change control processes
   
   
   
   


7. Cybersecurity & Compliance
   
   
   
   • Ensure manufacturing app solutions comply with cybersecurity standards and policies
