As the AVEVA MES Lead, you will play a central role in designing, configuring, and deploying composable AVEVA MES solutions. You will bridge the gap between hands‑on technical execution, project governance, and external vendor management- ensuring high-quality MES delivery across parallel projects in dynamic manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture & Delivery: Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and continuous enhancement of composable AVEVA MES solutions.
- Project Governance: Oversee and coordinate multiple parallel MES deployment projects to ensure delivery within scope, timeline, and quality standards.
- Technical Documentation: Author and maintain technical MES enhancement requirements, development specifications, and system configuration materials.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Direct and supervise outsourced development activities with external software development vendors, ensuring high deliverable quality through technical oversight.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with internal operations teams, business users, and cross-functional technical teams to map business needs into scalable MES solutions.
- DevOps Integration: Utilize Microsoft/Azure DevOps for work tracking, development collaboration, continuous improvement, and release management.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands‑on technical experience with AVEVA MES (installation, configuration, and development).
- Proven track record of managing and delivering successful MES implementations in manufacturing environments, including managing parallel deployment projects.
- Strong background in managing and directing third‑party development teams and external software vendors.
- Hands‑on familiarity with Microsoft DevOps / Azure DevOps concepts and tools.
- Strong functional writing skills for technical specifications and project documentation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional leadership skills.
