Job Description
Succession Track: Head of Strategy (3–4 Years)
Reporting To: CEO / Business Head
Role Purpose
The Lead Manager – Strategy, Digital Transformation & CEO Office will function as the strategic execution partner to the CEO, driving enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across digital systems, business intelligence, corporate strategy, investor communication, branding, and governance.
The role is designed to build a future-ready leader capable of transitioning into the Head of Strategy role within 3–4 years by institutionalizing data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and strategic execution across e2E Rail and associated business entities.
Key Responsibilities
1. ERP 2.0 Leadership & Enterprise Digitization
- Drive enterprise digital transformation initiatives aligned with ERP 2.0 implementation roadmap.
- Collaborate with ERP, IT, Finance, HR, SCM, Projects, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless cross-functional integration.
- Eliminate operational data silos and establish unified reporting architecture.
- Monitor ERP adoption across departments and ensure process standardization and compliance.
- Identify automation opportunities to improve execution efficiency and reduce manual dependencies.
- Develop executive dashboards and MIS frameworks for real‑time business monitoring.
- Build analytical reporting systems covering:
- Order Book & Revenue Visibility
- Project Execution Status
- Procurement Efficiency
- Working Capital & Cash Flow
- Resource Utilization
- Business Pipeline Tracking
- Utilize BI and analytics tools for actionable business insights and decision support.
- Ensure reporting turnaround within defined leadership timelines.
3. Corporate Strategy & Strategic Programs
- Support long‑term corporate growth roadmap and strategic planning initiatives.
- Drive transformation programs focused on:
- Cost optimization
- Process excellence
- Operational productivity
- Execution efficiency
- Organizational scalability
- Coordinate strategic reviews with business leaders and track initiative progress.
- Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend assessments.
4. Investor Relations & Strategic Communication
- Prepare high‑quality investor presentations, business updates, and strategic communication material.
- Support leadership during investor meetings, analyst interactions, and stakeholder engagements.
- Ensure consistency, compliance, and accuracy in external strategic communication.
- Assist in developing business narratives aligned with company growth strategy and valuation positioning.
- Support enterprise brand‑building initiatives and corporate communication strategy.
- Manage digital branding initiatives across websites, social media, and strategic platforms.
- Coordinate with PR agencies and media stakeholders for industry visibility.
- Strengthen positioning of e2E Rail as a technology‑led railway systems integrator and OEM platform.
6. M&A and Strategic Initiatives Support
- Assist in evaluating strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and expansion opportunities.
- Support due diligence activities including financial, operational, and strategic analysis.
- Participate in synergy assessment, integration planning, and post‑merger execution tracking.
7. Governance & Performance Management
- Establish KPI frameworks and governance mechanisms across business units.
- Drive periodic performance reviews with leadership teams.
- Ensure structured reporting cadence and accountability tracking.
- Support institutionalization of management review systems and strategy execution frameworks.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- 100% integration of critical business functions
- Deployment of 5–7 executive leadership dashboards
- Real‑time reporting turnaround within 24 hours
- Execution of minimum 3 strategic initiatives annually
- 100% timely delivery of investor communication material
- 8–12 annual media mentions and 2x digital engagement growth

Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification
- MBA / PGDM in Strategy, Finance, Operations, Business Analytics, or equivalent from a reputed institution preferred.
- Engineering background with management qualification will be an added advantage.

- 8–15 years of experience in:
