Job summary

EPAM Systems in Hyderabad, India, seeks a Lead JavaScript Automation Test Engineer to uphold high-quality releases across software platforms with robust automation. You will lead testers, oversee automated testing, and continually improve our automation framework and workflows.

Your responsibilities include mentoring a QA team, coordinating with stakeholders, designing test plans, and delivering scalable automated tests using Playwright, Cypress, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Significant automation testing experience with emphasis on JavaScript (8–12 years).
• Strong practical experience using JavaScript and TypeScript in test automation (4–6 years).
• Leadership experience in a QA role (1+ year).
• Experience with UI automation tools such as Playwright, Mocha, Chai, Jest, Puppeteer, or Cypress.
• Knowledge of Web Service and API test automation, including test case creation and framework development.
• Good working knowledge of Webdriver I/O for UI automation.
• English proficiency B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher.
