EPAM Systems in Chennai seeks a Senior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer to lead a QA team and expand automated coverage. You will partner with product and engineering, automate UI and Web Service/API scenarios, and refine our automation framework.

You will mentor testers, collaborate across teams, and drive end-to-end test plans and strategies to maximize coverage and quality. A strong JS/TS background and leadership experience are required.

Qualificações

• 6–9 years of professional Automation Testing experience centered on JavaScript.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with 4–6 years of hands‑on delivery.
• 1+ year of leadership experience coordinating or leading testing efforts.
• Strong proficiency in UI Automation tooling, including Playwright, Mocha and Chai.
• Practical familiarity with Jest, Puppeteer and Cypress.
• Experience building Web Service and API Test Automation, including test cases and test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of Webdriver I/O usage for UI testing.
• B2+ English level (Upper-Intermediate).
