Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer to drive dependable releases by leading a QA team and expanding automated coverage. You will partner with product and engineering, automate UI and Web Service/API scenarios, and refine our automation framework.

You will mentor a tester team, collaborate across functions to gather requirements, and develop end-to-end test plans and strategies to maximize coverage and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of professional Automation Testing experience centered on JavaScript.
• Advanced expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript with 4–6 years of hands-on delivery.
• 1+ year of leadership experience coordinating or leading testing efforts.
• Strong proficiency in UI Automation tooling (Playwright, Mocha, Chai).
• Experience with API/Web Service test automation and frameworks.
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2+).

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in UI Automation tooling, including Playwright, Mocha and Chai
• Practical familiarity with Jest, Puppeteer and Cypress
• Experience building Web Service and API Test Automation, including test cases and test automation frameworks
• Knowledge of Webdriver I/O usage for UI testing
• B2+ English level (Upper-Intermediate)
