BMC is looking for a Java Tech Lead, an innovator at heart, to join a team of highly skilled software developers.

How you will contribute:

1. Design and develop platform solutions based on Java/J2EE best practices and web standards.
2. Discover, design, and develop analytical methods to support novel approaches of data and information processing.
3. Lead/participate in all aspects of product development, from requirements analysis to product release.
4. Lead feature/product engineering teams and participate in architecture and design reviews.
5. Ensure the delivery of high-quality software releases on schedule. Troubleshoot and debug effectively.
6. Lead and participate in virtual teams to deliver iterations and define the technical direction.
7. Design enterprise platforms using UML, process flows, sequence diagrams, and pseudo-code to ensure alignment.
8. Develop and implement software solutions leveraging GPT, LLM, and conversational AI technologies.
9. Integrate GPT and LLM models into architecture for natural language processing features.

Required skills and experience:

1. 10+ years in designing and developing complex frameworks and platforms with design patterns.
2. Expertise in server-side issues like caching, clustering, persistence, security, SSO, scalability, and failover.
3. Experience with big data technologies, stream processing frameworks, and NoSQL databases.
4. Proficiency in Java frameworks such as OSGI, Spring, JMS, JPA, JTA, JDBC, and cloud platforms like Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure.
5. Experience with PostgreSQL and aspect-oriented architectures.
6. Participation in open source projects and knowledge of app server architectures, SaaS, PaaS platforms.
7. Understanding of REST API, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
8. Knowledge of fine-tuning LLMs including BERT and GPT.

Nice to have skills:

1. Familiarity with data warehouse/lake platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery.
2. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, OCI, Azure.
3. Experience with Generative AI frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex.
