Job summary

BMC Software in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our high-performing team building a scalable SaaS server. You will develop backend services, design features, and work in a Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software.

You should have 8+ years of Java development, experience with multi-threaded server-side systems, Unix/Windows backends, and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL. Knowledge of microservices and Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.

The BMC Control-M Server team is looking for a passionate Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team of highly skilled developers building a high-performing scalable SaaS server.

• Develop a backend server and participate in the move to a sophisticated SaaS solution which is far from trivial.
• Design and develop features for an industry leading product
• Work in agile within a Scrum team to meet deadlines and produce high quality features.
• Collaborate with other teams to develop joint features.
• Participate in investigating and implementing various technologies/tools

To ensure youre set up for success, you will bring the following skillset experience:

• You have at least 8 plus years of Java development experience
• You worked in a multi-threaded server-side environment
• You have experience with Backend Server development on Windows UNIX platforms
• You have experience with relational database (Oracle, PGSQL, MSSQL)
• You have good technical and analytical skills
• You are a team player with effective communication skills
