You will lead horticulture teams, coordinate with general managers, engineering and operations, manage external contractors and AMCs, and drive sustainable practices while controlling costs and maintaining brand aesthetics.
Take formal handover of landscaped areas from the Projects Team upon project completion.
Review and study landscape execution plans, drawings, plant schedules, and specifications.
Validate that execution aligns with approved designs, brand standards, and environmental requirements.
Identify gaps or deviations and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
Oversee the design, maintenance, and enhancement of landscaped areas across all hotel locations.
Ensure lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, seasonal plants, and indoor greenery remain healthy, vibrant, and visually appealing.
Plan and execute seasonal planting programs and landscape improvement initiatives.
Maintain and monitor water features, vertical gardens, rooftop gardens, and outdoor recreational green spaces.
Conduct regular site inspections across all hotel properties.
Ensure consistency in landscaping standards, aesthetics, and brand identity across locations.
Develop and implement SOPs, checklists, and preventive maintenance schedules for horticulture activities.
Coordinate closely with Hotel General Managers, Engineering, and Operations teams at each site.
Lead, train, and supervise in-house horticulture staff and landscaping teams.
Manage external landscapers, nurseries, contractors, and vendors.
Allocate manpower efficiently across multiple locations based on operational needs.
Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory requirements, and labor regulations.
Monitor and manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for landscaping and horticulture services.
Ensure AMC scopes, SLAs, and quality benchmarks are met.
Review contractor performance and recommend renewals or corrective measures.
Implement sustainable landscaping practices, including water conservation, composting, mulching, and use of native plants.
Monitor and optimize irrigation systems to reduce water and energy consumption.
Prepare, monitor, and control budgets for landscaping and horticulture activities.
Achieve cost efficiencies while maintaining luxury hospitality standards.
