Job summary

Miros Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced Landscape and Horticulture Manager to oversee design, maintenance, and enhancement of landscaped areas across all hotel locations. You will ensure seasonal planting programs, water features, and indoor greenery meet luxury standards while coordinating with hotel leadership and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Take formal handover of landscaped areas from Projects Team at project completion.
• Review landscape execution plans, drawings, plant schedules, and specifications.
• Validate execution aligns with designs, brand standards, and environmental requirements.
• Identify gaps and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
• Oversee design, maintenance, and enhancement of landscaped areas across all hotel locations.
• Ensure lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, and indoor greenery remain healthy and appealing.
• Plan seasonal planting programs and landscape improvements.
• Maintain water features, vertical and rooftop gardens, and outdoor green spaces.
• Conduct regular site inspections across all properties to ensure consistency.
• Develop SOPs, checklists, and preventive maintenance schedules for horticulture.
• Coordinate with General Managers, Engineering, and Operations at each site.
• Lead, train, and supervise in-house horticulture staff and landscaping teams.
• Manage external landscapers, nurseries, contractors, and vendors.
• Allocate manpower across locations and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and ensure SLA compliance.
• Review contractor performance and renewals or corrective measures.
• Implement sustainable practices to conserve water and energy.
• Monitor irrigation systems and optimize for cost efficiency.
• Prepare and control budgets for landscaping activities.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Handover & Execution Review

Take formal handover of landscaped areas from the Projects Team upon project completion.

Review and study landscape execution plans, drawings, plant schedules, and specifications.

Validate that execution aligns with approved designs, brand standards, and environmental requirements.

Identify gaps or deviations and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.

Landscape & Garden Management

Oversee the design, maintenance, and enhancement of landscaped areas across all hotel locations.

Ensure lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, seasonal plants, and indoor greenery remain healthy, vibrant, and visually appealing.

Plan and execute seasonal planting programs and landscape improvement initiatives.

Maintain and monitor water features, vertical gardens, rooftop gardens, and outdoor recreational green spaces.

Multi-Location Oversight

Conduct regular site inspections across all hotel properties.

Ensure consistency in landscaping standards, aesthetics, and brand identity across locations.

Develop and implement SOPs, checklists, and preventive maintenance schedules for horticulture activities.

Coordinate closely with Hotel General Managers, Engineering, and Operations teams at each site.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management

Lead, train, and supervise in-house horticulture staff and landscaping teams.

Manage external landscapers, nurseries, contractors, and vendors.

Allocate manpower efficiently across multiple locations based on operational needs.

Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory requirements, and labor regulations.

AMC & Contract Management

Monitor and manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for landscaping and horticulture services.

Ensure AMC scopes, SLAs, and quality benchmarks are met.

Review contractor performance and recommend renewals or corrective measures.

Sustainability & Cost Control

Implement sustainable landscaping practices, including water conservation, composting, mulching, and use of native plants.

Monitor and optimize irrigation systems to reduce water and energy consumption.

Prepare, monitor, and control budgets for landscaping and horticulture activities.

Achieve cost efficiencies while maintaining luxury hospitality standards.
