Optum India in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions for health care data exchange.

You will lead API design with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, React front-end, and cloud deployment on Azure or AWS, while mentoring peers and enforcing CI/CD best practices.

The role requires strong problem solving, collaboration with QA, and a commitment to security in software development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java API development.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, Design, Code, Review, Integrate, Implement, Install, Deploy and Maintenance of software components using Java/J2EE, React, REST/SOAP, Microservices, Kafka, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Develop, test and maintain robust RESTful APIs for healthcare data exchange.
• Provide technical direction across client engagements from definition to implementation.
• Lead CI/CD, CT, and automated code reviews.
• Develop Azure Cloud solutions and optimize Java applications.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities using SAST/DAST tools.
• Mentor junior developers and drive architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with QA and other engineers to ensure quality.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze, Design, Code, Review, Integrate, Implement, Install, Deploy and Maintenance of the computer programs and software components using specific tools and latest technologies including Java/J2EE, React, Web services (REST and SOAP), Microservices Framework, Microforont end, Apache Kafka, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable RESTful APIs for data exchange between healthcare systems
• Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration across multiple client engagements from definition phase through implementation
• Leading the Implementation best engineering practices on CI,CD,CT and automated code reviews
• Leading Development of Azure Cloud Technology
• Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of Java developed projects
• Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA
• Establish, refine, and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
• Identify production and non-production application issues
• Provide technical support and consultation for Java application and infrastructure questions
• Serve as a mentor to less experienced Developers
• Be able to envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements
• Create, understand, and validate Design and estimated effort for given module/task, and be able to justify it
• Works with less structured, more complex issues
• Serves as a resource to others
• Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements

Required Qualifications

• B.Tech / MCA / Msc / MTech (Minimum 16 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant)
• 8+ years of experience on Java API development
• 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer with Solid proficiency in Java, SpringBoot
• 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering
• 5+ years of experience with React
• 5+ years of experience building responsive front-end applications with React
• 3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
• Hands-on with SQL queries and PostGres experience
• Hands-on with any of the IDE (IntelliJ/Eclipse/VSCode etc.)
• Good hands-on experience on MVC, SOA based applications, applications with high configurability
• Good experience leading setup of DevOps tools for CI/CD and CT setups
• Experience configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub workflows and JFROG Artifactory
• Experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities using SAST and DAST tools
