UnitedHealth Group seeks an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable healthcare applications. You will work across Java, Spring Boot, React, RESTful services and cloud platforms while guiding CI/CD practices and security reviews.

You will lead development efforts, mentor teammates, and help deliver integrated solutions with Azure or AWS, Kafka, and modern DevOps tooling in a collaborative, inclusive environment in Bengaluru, India.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience on Java API development.
• 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer with proficiency in Java, SpringBoot.
• 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with React.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze, design, code, review, and maintain software using Java/J2EE, React, REST/SOAP, Spring Boot, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust RESTful APIs for data exchange between healthcare systems.
• Lead implementation best practices for CI, CD, CT and automated code reviews.
• Mentor less experienced developers and drive solutions for defined requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze, Design, Code, Review, Integrate, Implement, Install, Deploy and Maintenance of the computer programs and software components using specific tools and latest technologies including Java/J2EE, React, Web services (REST and SOAP), Microservices Framework, Microforont end, Apache Kafka, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable RESTful APIs for data exchange between healthcare systems
• Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration across multiple client engagements from definition phase through implementation
• Leading the Implementation best engineering practices on CI,CD,CT and automated code reviews
• Leading Development of Azure Cloud Technology
• Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of Java developed projects
• Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA
• Establish, refine, and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
• Identify production and non-production application issues
• Provide technical support and consultation for Java application and infrastructure questions
• Serve as a mentor to less experienced Developers
• Be able to envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements
• Create, understand, and validate Design and estimated effort for given module/task, and be able to justify it
• Works with less structured, more complex issues
• Serves as a resource to others
• Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements

Required Qualifications:

• B.Tech / MCA / Msc / MTech (Minimum 16 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant)
• 8+ years of experience on Java API development
• 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer with Solid proficiency in Java, SpringBoot
• 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering
• 5+ years of experience with React
• 5+ years of experience building responsive front-end applications with React
• 3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
• Hands-on with SQL queries and PostGres experience
• Hands-on with any of the IDE (IntelliJ/Eclipse/VSCode etc.)
• Good hands-on experience on MVC, SOA based applications, applications with high configurability
• Good experience leading setup of DevOps tools for CI/CD and CT setups
• Experience configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub workflows and JFROG Artifactory
• Experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities using SAST and DAST tools
