Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Full Stack Application Developer for our Digital Engineering Solutions team in Pune. The role focuses on designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, CI/CD practices, and collaboration between software development and operations teams.

You will work on .NET technologies (C#, .NET Core) with Angular/React/Vue, build RESTful APIs, ensure security and performance, and mentor teammates while delivering high-quality, scalable software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software development, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Azure certifications (AZ‑900/AZ‑204) preferred.
• Experience with .NET languages (C#, VB.NET), ASP.NET, .NET Core and frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.

Job Description

CDM Smith is seeking a Full Stack Application Developer for our Digital Engineering Solutions team. The role focuses on designing and implementing cloud‑based solutions, facilitating CI/CD practices, and ensuring collaboration between software development and operations teams. The developer will work on AEC initiatives, research new products, and provide guidance to the AEC practices within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept to support.
• Take responsibility for the project and operate independently within a collaborative environment.
• Understand storyboards, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes and translate them into tangible solutions.
• Design and recommend the project framework, including system, technical, and security architecture.
• Use Agile development techniques while ensuring code is scalable, reusable, and of high quality.
• Solid understanding of Azure pipelines and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Deliver efficient solutions that meet business requirements.
• Investigate third‑party libraries and integrate software components with teams from different business units.
• Conduct research across various disciplines, including IT systems, design, development, deployment, networking, servers, endpoints, hardware/software, and vendor services.
• Maintain awareness of market trends and pursue necessary training and certifications.
• Address complex challenges with deep understanding of software technologies and architectural design.
• Own best practices, inventive resolution of technical issues, task prioritization, and multitasking.
• Demonstrate exceptional time management, task assignment, and resource utilization.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile development, programming methodologies, MVC, MVVM, and SPA architectures.
• Proficient in developing web applications with .NET languages (C#, VB.NET), ASP.NET, .NET Core, and frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Build and ingest web services (RESTful APIs) for client‑server communication.
• Develop efficient data access code using Entity Framework or ADO.NET and implement data storage solutions using structured and unstructured database services.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and performance through optimal coding, testing, and deployment practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to establish and achieve project milestones.
• Write well‑documented, maintainable, and orderly code.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to resolve bugs before deployment.
• Stay current with advancements in .NET framework and web technologies.
• Implement OWASP security principles, accessibility, and security compliance tools.
• Proficient in authentication technologies (OAuth2.0, JWT), CIAM, and IAM.
• Pursue continuous learning and professional growth in full‑stack development best practices.
• Use Git for version control, branching, pull‑request reviews, and conflict resolution.
• Provide technical assistance and direction to team members and stakeholders, including troubleshooting after deployment.
