Job summary

Ripik Technology in Noida is seeking a Lead Frontend Developer to architect, build, and lead the frontend of new products end-to-end in React.js and HTML/CSS. You will set the bar for frontend quality—from design systems and component architecture to performance, accessibility, and the feel of every interaction.

You’ll work with the founding team, designers, and AI engineers, define the stack, mentor engineers, and ship world-class interfaces that scale as the product evolves.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience with React.js and production-quality HTML/CSS.
• Deep React expertise, including hooks, rendering, performance, and state management trade-offs.
• Strong CSS fundamentals for responsive, accessible layouts without heavy framework reliance.
• Experience building from scratch, shipping early-stage products, and moving fast with purpose.
• AI-native sensibility: building interfaces for AI products and integrating with AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the frontend end-to-end using React.js and HTML/CSS from scaffolding to shipping.
• Define architecture, tooling, libraries, and patterns for future engineers.
• Set quality standards for components, code quality, performance budgets, accessibility, and polish.
• Collaborate with design and AI teams to surface model outputs naturally and trustworthily.

You will architect, build, and lead the frontend of new products end-to-end - translating problem statements into beautifully engineered, production-grade user experiences. You will set the bar for frontend quality at Ripik: from design systems and component architecture to performance, accessibility, and the feel of every interaction.

You will work closely with the founding team, designers, and AI engineers. You won't be handed pixel-perfect mocks; you'll co-create them. You won't inherit a stack; you'll define it.

What You'll Do :

• Own the frontend end-to-end. Architect and build the entire web frontend in React.js and HTML/CSS - from scaffolding to shipping.


• Build 0 -1 role in making world class products. Take new products from concept to production. Make decisions on architecture, tooling, libraries, and patterns that future engineers will build on.


• Set the quality bar. Define standards for component design, code quality, performance budgets, accessibility, and visual polish. Lead by example with the code you write.


• Partner with design and AI. Collaborate with designers to push interactions further, and with AI engineers to surface model outputs in ways that feel natural and trustworthy.


• Build the design system. Create a reusable, scalable component library that future engineers and products can build on.


• Mentor and hire. As the team grows, hire and mentor the frontend engineers who come after you. Shape the engineering culture.


• Care about the details. Animations, loading states, empty states, error states, edge cases - the things that separate good products from world-class ones.

Who You Are :

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience, with a strong portfolio of production work in React.js and modern HTML/CSS.


• Deep React expertise. You understand hooks, rendering, performance, state management, and the trade-offs between popular patterns. You know when to reach for a library and when not to.


• Strong CSS fundamentals. You can build complex, responsive, accessible layouts without leaning on a framework to do the thinking for you.


• 0- 1 instincts. You've built something from scratch before - taken an early-stage idea and turned it into a real, shipped product. You move fast and bias toward action.


• AI-native sensibility. You're excited about building interfaces for AI products - chat, agents, data exploration, decision support - and you use AI tools fluently in your own workflow.


• Design taste. You can tell the difference between a product that looks shipped and one that looks designed. You care about it.


• Ownership mindset. You don't wait for tickets. You see a problem, you fix it. You see a gap, you fill it.

Nice to Have :

• Experience at an early-stage startup or as a founding engineer or into AI Native Startup.


• Familiarity with TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind, or modern state management libraries.


• Experience integrating with LLM APIs, streaming responses, or building agentic UIs.


• Open-source contributions or a public body of work we can look at.
