Job summary

Brillio 2 is seeking a Lead Engineer to drive architecture for scalable Java applications. You will lead end-to-end design, mentor teams and ensure robust, cloud-native solutions using Spring ecosystems and modern DevOps practices.

You will collaborate with Product, QA and DevOps in Agile settings, deploying on AWS/Azure/GCP with Kubernetes and Docker, while integrating GenAI tooling to boost productivity and code quality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands on core Java/J2EE development.
• Strong knowledge of Java 11+, functional programming, streams, concurrency.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Cloud and Hibernate.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, API design patterns and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elastic Search).
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks: JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber.
• Exposure to Gen AI concepts, LLM integrations, and AI-driven development tools.

Responsibilities

Lead Engineer

Position Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with deep experience in building scalable, resilient, and high-performance applications using modern Java technologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate hands-on technical leadership, expertise in microservices architecture, strong knowledge of DevOps practices and proficiency in integrating modern frontend and backend systems. Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) tools and frameworks will be an added advantage.

Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architectural solutions for enterprise-grade applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain high quality Java-based applications using modern frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
