Job Title: Senior Java Engineer / Technical Lead
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Engineer / Technical Lead with strong expertise in building and delivering enterprise-grade, cloud‑native solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on experience in Java/J2EE, Spring ecosystem, microservices, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), along with proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise solutions using Java/J2EE following multi‑tier and microservices architectures.
- Apply architectural principles and design patterns to build robust, maintainable, and high‑performance systems.
- Lead a team of 10–15 engineers, guiding them through design, development, testing, and production deployment.
- Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and help troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Analyze user stories, provide accurate effort estimates, and ensure timely delivery of work items.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure code quality, security, and performance across all phases of the SDLC.
- Support applications through the full project lifecycle, including production support and enhancements.
- Work effectively in a fast‑paced, Agile / Scaled Agile development environment.
Technical Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Java/J2EE enterprise application development.
- Strong proficiency with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, web services, and API management gateways.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP); experience with AWS or Azure is also acceptable.
- Good knowledge of cloud‑native services including compute, storage, and networking.
- Experience with GCP Dataflow is mandatory.
- Strong hands‑on experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to NoSQL databases is desirable.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Git, Maven, Gradle, and Rundeck.
- Strong understanding of application and code security best practices across the SDLC.
