Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Chennai seeks an experienced Mechanical engineer to lead engine and hybrid emission testing and to manage the test facility and team. You will ensure compliance with Indian, US, and European emission standards, plan test activities, and mentor staff.

The role includes monitoring facility utilization, preparing detailed test reports, and supporting new test bed installations with data-driven analysis using tools like Concerto, Uniplot, INCA and VISU.

Formación

• BE Mechanical degree required with 8–9 years experience.
• Experience in engine and hybrid emission testing per Indian, US and European standards.
• Strong knowledge of Indian and international emission legislations.
• Knowledge of test bed automation and data analysis tools.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engine and hybrid emission testing as per established legislations.
• Plan and schedule test facility work and resources.
• Manage manpower and training for the team.
• Monitor utilisation and efficiency of the test facility.
• Prepare and release test reports with findings.
• Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new test beds.

Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the job

Sound Knowledge of Indian & International Emission legislations.
Candidate with Hybrid powertrain validation experience preferred.
Proficient in handling below equipment's ,

• 1) Engine dyno operation.
• 2) Engine dyno Automation software Like PUMA / Orbit-e
• 3) Fuel Balance, conditioner,
• 4) Emission measuring Equipment's, SPC, Particle Counter etc

Ability to do Engine Dyno Performance & Emission testing independently as well as support to build a new Team.
With Data analysis in SW like Concerto / Uniplot
Knowledge on engine management software's like INCA, VISU.
