Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Limited invites applications for an Engineer – PDC Responsibilities & Key Deliverables. You will perform chassis dyno emission tests, prepare and set up test vehicles and instruments, and record results with clear communication to engineers or supervisors.

The role requires 2–3 years in the automotive sector and BE/B.Tech. You should have knowledge of ICE/electric powertrains, data acquisition, diagnostic skills, and toolsets such as INCA, Ipetronic or AVL EDACS.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in the automotive sector.
• Knowledge of ICE/electric powertrain systems, engine validation and vehicle interfaces.
• Familiarity with test instrumentation and data acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Perform chassis dyno emission tests.
• Prepare, install and set up test vehicle, analyzers, dyno data acquisition and equipment.
• Perform tests and record results, communicate to an Engineer or Supervisor/Manager.
• Complete test documentation paperwork.
• Propose improvements to processes and equipment upgrades.

Engineer - PDC Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

3. Perform test and record results, communicates results to an Engineer, or to a Supervisor / Manager, as required
4. Complete test documentation paperwork
5. Proposes improvements to processes and equipment upgrades

Experience 2 to 3 years Industry Preferred Automotive sector Qualifications BE/B.Tech General Requirements

1. Knowledge / Hands on Experience of Automotive technology, ICE/electric Powertrain systems, Vehicle Interface systems
2. Strong diagnostic skills - ability to learn and understand new concepts and applications
3. Knowledge on measureing instruments, instrumentation of vehicle,
4. Knowledge of engine validation @ vehicle level & peripheral systems affecting vehicle performance.
5. Knowledge of vehicle data acquisition & control systems, INCA, Ipetronic, AVL EDACS
6. Candidate with 4 wheeler driving licence will be added advantage.
7. Electric vehicle testing knowledge on chassis dyno.
8. Strong attention to detail- follows policies, procedures, and safety measures
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
