Job summary

Innominds Software in Bangalore is seeking an experienced Embedded/Linux Kernel Engineer to lead design, development, and integration on embedded platforms. The role requires hands-on Linux kernel expertise, C/C++ programming, and Yocto, with a focus on Qualcomm chipsets.

You will drive end-to-end activities, work in a hybrid setup, and collaborate across hardware and software teams to deliver robust drivers, BSP customizations, and reliable debugging.

Qualifications

• We are seeking an Embedded/Linux Kernel Engineer with hands-on Linux kernel experience.
• Strong C/C++ programming for embedded systems and Yocto proficiency.

Position: Lead Engineer - Linux Kernel
Experience: 5 to 8 years
Location: Bangalore ( Hybrid)
Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA

We are seeking an experienced Embedded/Linux Kernel Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Linux Kernel, C/C++ programming, and Yocto. The ideal candidate must have substantial experience working on Qualcomm chipsets or SoCs and should be capable of driving end-to-end design, development, and integration activities for embedded platforms.

• Strong expertise in Linux Kernel internals, device driver development, and low-level programming.
• Hands-on experience with Yocto (recipes, layers, build system, system customization).
• Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems.
• Mandatory experience working with Qualcomm chipsets or SoC platforms.
• Strong understanding of hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, PCIe, etc.).
• Experience with debugging tools (GDB, JTAG, Lauterbach, crash utilities).
• Good understanding of bootloaders (U-Boot) and BSP customization.
