Roles and Responsibility

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BSPs for custom ARM-based hardware platforms
• Customize and optimize Yocto Linux layers, recipes, and build systems
• Perform hands-on debugging using JTAG, serial consoles, and kernel logs
• Conduct extensive triaging and root‑cause analysis of system‑level issues
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration
• Document technical findings and contribute to continuous improvement

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in C programming for embedded Linux
• Deep understanding of Yocto Project, BitBake, and Linux kernel internals
• Experience with ARM architecture and board bring‑up
• Proficient in debugging tools (GDB, JTAG, oscilloscope, etc.)
• Solid grasp of bootloaders (U‑Boot), device trees, and kernel modules
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with secure boot, OTA updates, or real‑time Linux
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cross-completion toolchains
