• Lead peripheral bring-up for display, camera, audio, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and storage.
• Own Yocto and Debian-based Linux distribution development and maintenance.
• Mentor and manage a team of developers and drive technical excellence.
• Interface with customers, chipset vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure code quality, documentation, and development process compliance.

Role Linux Kernel Architect (Product R&D Team)

Experience - 15 to 25 years

Location – Bangalore (Hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Linux Architect to lead embedded Linux platform development on Qualcomm-based systems. The candidate will be responsible for architecture definition, Linux BSP customization, peripheral bring-up, team leadership, and end-to-end project execution for embedded/edge/automotive/IoT products.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and lead Embedded Linux platform development on Qualcomm chipsets.
• Drive Linux BSP customization, board bring-up, kernel integration, and system optimization.
• Lead peripheral bring-up activities including display, camera, audio, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and storage interfaces.
• Work closely with hardware, firmware, application, and QA teams for product development and debugging.
• Own Yocto and Debian-based Linux distribution development and maintenance.
• Perform kernel customization, device tree development, driver integration, and performance tuning.
• Lead project execution independently from requirement analysis to product release.
• Mentor and manage a team of 1015 developers and drive technical excellence.
• Participate in effort estimation, planning, risk management, and technical reviews.
• Build and ramp up engineering teams based on project requirements.
• Interface with customers, chipset vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure code quality, documentation, and development process compliance.
