Job summary

Innominds Software is seeking an experienced Embedded/Linux Kernel Engineer for Hyderabad. The role involves hands-on work on Linux kernel internals, device drivers, and low-level programming for embedded platforms.

You will focus on Yocto-based builds, BSP customization, and Qualcomm chipset integration in a hybrid work setup. The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of hands-on experience, strong C skills for embedded systems, and deep knowledge of hardware interfaces and debugging tools.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Linux Kernel internals, device driver development, and low-level programming.
• Hands-on experience with Yocto (recipes, layers, build system, system customization).
• Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems.
• Mandatory experience working with Qualcomm chipsets or SoC platforms.
• Strong understanding of hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, PCIe).
• Experience with debugging tools (GDB, JTAG, Lauterbach, crash utilities).
• Good knowledge of bootloaders (U-Boot) and BSP customization.
