Job summary

BMW TechWorks India Private Limited in Pune is seeking a Lead Engineer for Front and Rear End (Hood) to drive BIW and closures design. You will lead CAD modelling using CATIA V5, build robust parametric models, and ensure data integrity within BMW standards.

Strong communication and ECN/Teamcenter experience are essential. Ideal candidates have extensive BIW experience, proficiency in Generative Shape Design, Part Design and Digital Mockup, and a collaborative approach to interface coordination

Qualifications

• Experience with Body In White (BIW) and closures like hood, front end, tailgate, fender, bumpers.
• CATIA V5 CAD modelling with parametric design and structured trees.
• Familiarity with ECN, release management and Teamcenter data handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineer for BIW/Closures, responsible for CAD modelling and design integrity.
• Create and maintain parametric CAD models with organized structure in CATIA V5.
• Coordinate with teams and participate in integration meetings and interface coordination.

- Should have worked on Body In White and Closures parts (Hood, Front End, Tailgate & Fender & Bumpers) as a Lead Engineer.
- Should have the experience creating Solid Modelling and Surface modelling Catia V5.
- Should have an experience in building CAD models with organised tree structure including parametric modelling
- Should have very good communication and presentation skills
- German speaking is an added advantage.
- Should have hands on experience in ECN, Release management and Teamcenter.
