Overview

Seeking a responsible candidate for providing design solutions, building product pipelines, and demonstrating strong team‑management experience. Design solutions must offer superior performance, durability, quality, and serviceability. The role includes requirements gathering, CTQ definition, product validation, supplier management, collaborative manufacturing, and adherence to product and process excellence standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.
• Develop new design concepts that meet cost, quality, and manufacturability targets.
• Use standard NPI process tools such as FMEA, DVP&R, APQP, PPAP, etc.
• Communicate technical information effectively with team members, other units, customers, and suppliers.
• Execute VAVE and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Design and provide solutions for the Aliaxis product portfolio.
• Plan and deliver projects, including drafting drawings and Bill of Materials.
• Maintain strong relationships with Manufacturing, Marketing, and suppliers to ensure first‑time‑right product development.
• Manage project documentation, change requests, and adherence to the product development process.
• Drive an innovative mindset and foster continuous learning.
• Communicate clearly and concisely across cultural boundaries.
• Travel as required for business.

Qualifications

• Accredited Mechanical, Plastic, Polymer, or Production degree with sound design knowledge.
• Expert knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and GD&T.
• Minimum 3 years of product development and delivery experience.
• Excellent IT skills with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
