Job summary

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) is seeking a Lead Engineer- Electrical based in Vadodara. The role involves creating detailed electrical designs and updating schematics and SLDs for metering and protection as per project specs and international standards.

Responsibilities include equipment sizing, HV/LV design, cable scheduling, lighting calculations, and power system studies. You will coordinate with clients, vendors, and onsite teams, supporting bid analyses and BOQ preparation.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical designs and update schematics and SLDs for metering and protection per project specs and standards.
• Size electrical equipment including transformers, HV/LV cables, panels, AC-UPS, battery systems, substation design, and conduits.
• Exposure to LV and HV system design; prepare single line diagrams and load lists.
• Specify electrical equipment such as transformers, motors, generators, and UPS.
• Perform lighting calculations using DiaLux or similar tools.
• Carry out power system studies using ETAP or SKM.
• Prepare cable schedules and Electrical BOQ/BOM.
• Develop electrical layouts including cable routing, lighting, grounding, and ELV systems; consider hazardous areas.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and onsite teams; support tender analysis and bid evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE/ANSI/NEC/UL/NEMA/IEC standards.

• Electrical Equipment Sizing (Transformer, HV/LV Cable, HV/LV Panels, AC-UPS, Battery System, Substation design, Conduit sizing etc.)

• Electrical equipment's (Transformer, motor, DG, UPS etc.) specification
