Job summary

Worley in Vadodara is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in design and engineering for Oil & Gas, petrochemical, chemical and new energy projects. You will lead electrical system design, protection schemes, and documentation to support complex facilities.

The role requires deep HV/LV design knowledge, SLD/GA development, and strong mentoring skills to guide junior engineers while delivering projects to international standards such as IEC, IEEE, NEC and NEMA.

Qualifications

• 10-18 years of experience in design & engineering of Oil & Gas, petrochemical, chemical and new energy projects.
• Deep expertise in electrical engineering including HV/LV design, protection & control, grounding and lightning protection.
• Experience with SLDs, GA/layouts, cable routing, vendor evaluations, and engineering documents for PDCs, switchgears, transformers, MCCs, UPS, drives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects for clients while ensuring compliance with international standards and safety requirements.
• Develop technical specifications, single-line diagrams (SLDs), GA layouts, cable routing plans, and vendor evaluations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing throughout the project lifecycle.

The Role As a Senior Electrical Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc. Perform hands-on analytical evaluations to assess system performance, diagnose technical issues, and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with international standards such as IEC, IEEE, NEC, and NEMA, embedding safety, reliability, and cybersecurity. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on standardization, digitization, engineering quality, lessons learned, and operational excellence. Provide clear communication and leadership in technical reviews, project meetings, stakeholder interactions, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing. About You To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes: The Senior Electrical Engineer will be having 10-18 years of experience in design & engineering of Oil & Gas, petrochemical, chemical and new energy projects.
