Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Lead Digital Visual Designer to define and deliver exceptional visual experiences across web, mobile, and device interfaces. Qualifications

  • Four-year or graduate degree in Graphic Design / Fine Arts.
  • 8–15 years of experience in Graphic/Visual Design or Fine Arts.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design projects across web and mobile platforms.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI design tools.

Responsibilities

  • Creative Direction & Strategy: define visual design standards, guidelines, and road maps across web, mobile, and printer front-panel platforms.
  • Design Execution & Delivery: collaborate with UX, marketing, PMs, and engineers to deliver world-class product experiences and high-quality visual assets.
  • Systematisation & Consistency: develop and maintain design systems for cross‑application coherence.
  • Mentorship & Team Leadership: lead and mentor designers, coordinate resources, and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Innovation & Trend Forecasting: stay current on design trends and apply AI-powered workflows to accelerate ideation and prototyping.
  • Documentation & Communication: create design specs and present concepts to stakeholders with clear feedback loops.

Lead Digital Visual Designer Description - Job Summary The Lead Digital Visual Designer defines and delivers exceptional visual experiences across digital products, applications, and device interfaces. This hands‑on creative leader combines design excellence, strategy, technical expertise, and user insight to create innovative, user-centered solutions while mentoring designers and fostering collaboration and growth. Working with cross‑functional teams, the role ensures design integrity throughout development and uses user insights to improve experiences. It also applies AI‑powered tools and workflows to speed ideation, enhance creativity, streamline execution, and drive innovation while maintaining quality, accessibility, brand consistency, and responsible AI practices. Focused on strategic leadership, design systems, emerging technologies, and execution, this role delivers future‑ready design solutions that support business goals and elevate customer experiences.

Core Responsibilities
  • Creative Direction & Strategy Define visual design standards, guidelines, and road maps across web, mobile, and printer front-panel platforms. Set the creative vision and lead design from concept to execution, aligned with brand and business goals. Translate business and user needs into visual narratives and design systems.
  • Design Execution & Delivery Collaborate with User Experience designers, marketing, program managers, and engineers to deliver world‑class product experiences. Coordinate with development teams to ensure feasible, well‑implemented design solutions. Deliver wireframes, prototypes, specifications, style guides, and other high‑quality visual assets.
  • Systematisation & Consistency Develop and maintain design systems for consistency across applications and platforms. Review designs and provide feedback to improve UX and maintain visual coherence.
  • Mentorship & Team Leadership Lead and mentor visual designers through feedback, guidance, reviews, and collaboration. Coordinate resources and deliverables as the creative lead accountable for project decisions. Build a high‑performance, inclusive, creative culture by partnering with junior designers on live projects.
  • Innovation & Trend Forecasting Stay current on design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Apply forecasting insights to branding and interface aesthetics. Use AI‑powered tools to accelerate ideation, exploration, asset creation, and refinement. Integrate emerging AI into workflows while preserving quality, brand consistency, and user‑centred principles.
  • Documentation & Communication Create and maintain documentation for design specs, component behaviours, and visual scenarios. Present concepts to stakeholders and refine designs based on feedback. Bring experience with industry‑leading AI creative tools, design tools, and AI platforms. Apply AI‑driven workflows for concept generation, visual exploration, design systems, content generation, and rapid prototyping.
Skills & Qualifications
