Hero MotoCorp Ltd. seeks a Senior Digital Quality Lead to drive the digital transformation of Quality, implementing Traceability 2.0, Smart Quality Systems and SAP HANA integration.

You will bridge business needs with IT execution and deploy data-driven tools to build a robust quality culture. Role covers project implementation, BRD collaboration, system sustenance, and leading digital quality tool rollouts.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AI tech and Power BI tools.
• Ability to create BRDs and translate business needs into IT specs.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans and core quality tools with digitization experience.
• Expertise in Quality Analytics, Smart Quality Systems and Digital Dashboards.
• Experience with traceability implementations such as Traceability 2.0.

Responsibilities

• Lead new project implementations including Traceability 2.0 and SAP HANA testing.
• Collaborate with IT to convert BRDs into executable solutions and support BRD creation.

Job description

To lead the digital transformation of the Quality function by implementing, sustaining, and enhancing critical digital projects such as Traceability 2.0, Smart Quality Systems, and SAP HANA integration. This role bridges the gap between business needs and IT execution, ensuring the successful derivation and deployment of digital tools (Digital PFMEA, Digital Control Plan, Digital NPD QAV) to build a robust, data-driven Quality Culture.

A purpose driven role for you

New Project Implementation & Testing:

• Drive the execution of new structural projects including Traceability 2.0 and SAP HANA testing.
• Ensure smooth rollouts across the quality network

Business Requirement & IT Collaboration

• Review business requirements, communicate effectively with the IT (DIT) team for implementation, and support the creation of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).

System Sustenance & Enhancement

• Manage the sustenance, enhancement, and continuous improvement of current digital projects, ensuring optimal performance of digital dashboards, apps, and Quality analytics.

Smart Quality Systems & Culture

• Drive the derivation and deployment of critical digital quality tools (Digital PFMEA, Digital Control Plan, Digital NPD QAV) while fostering a digital-first Quality Culture.

A Day in the life

Overcoming user resistance when transitioning from manual to Smart Quality Systems and digital platforms.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Translating complex quality processes into clear technical requirements (BRDs) for the IT team and ensuring seamless SAP HANA integration.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders for:
Implementation of projects, sharing BRDs, testing SAP HANA, and system enhancements. Traceability 2.0 implementation and digital quality tool rollout (PFMEA, Control Plans). Quality 4.0 app development, dashboard creation, and Smart Quality systems execution. Collaborate with external stakeholders for:
Traceability 2.0 implementation and digital quality tool rollout (PFMEA, Control Plans).

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.Tech/MT with 5-6 years experience in a similar role

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Proficiency in latest AI tech & power BI tools
• Proficiency in creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
• Knowledge of Quality Systems (PFMEA, Control Plans, Core Quality Tools) and how to digitize them.
• Expertise in Quality Analytics, Smart Quality Systems, and Digital Dashboards.
• Traceability systems implementation (e.g., Traceability 2.0)
