Job summary

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. is seeking a senior quality professional with 10-12 years of experience in manufacturing and the auto industry. The role focuses on continuous product quality improvement from customer feedback, field reports, and DFMEA/PFMEA-driven processes.

You will lead problem analysis, ECN approvals, and lifecycle testing to ensure top reliability across models. Based in India with the world’s largest motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

Minimum 10-12 years of experience in manufacturing/Auto Industry.
In-depth knowledge of braking, suspension, ABS and control cables.
Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA, FTA and QC Story tools.
Hands-on vehicle and engine testing knowledge.
Experience benchmarking design and process for in-house and competitor products.

Responsibilities

Drive continuous product quality improvements based on customer feedback and field data.
Lead problem analysis and resolution using 8D, DFMEA/PFMEA, FTA and related quality tools.
Coordinate ECN approvals and Maker engagement; implement ECN changes.
Conduct on-the-spot troubleshooting and ensure traceability of failure parts in the field.
Support New Model development with rigorous testing and country-specific validation.

Academic Qualification & Experience

Minimum 10-12 years of experience in manufacturing/Auto Industry

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Experience of design and process Benchmarking (for both in-house products and competitor products
In-depth Knowledge of Braking System , Suspension System , ABS, Control Cables
Problem Solving through 8D , DFMEA/ PFMEA , FTA , QC Story Tools
Knowhow of Vehicle & Parts validation testing for correlating standard spec and market condition.
Hands on knowledge on Vehicle & Engine Testing
