Job summary

Alten Group in Bengaluru, India, seeks an experienced PCB/board design engineer with 6–8 years in avionics and automotive applications to lead high-quality board design under tight schedules.

You will interact with internal engineering teams from a board design perspective, ensure complex boards meet EMI/EMC and IPC guidelines, and be willing to travel for onsite deputation.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of hands-on PCB/board design experience.
• BE in Electronics or Electrical with good academic record.
• Experience in avionics and automotive applications.
• Ability to design complex boards with high quality under tight schedules.
• Knowledge of PCB stack‑up, flex, SMD and BGA.
• Familiarity with IPC 2222 and IPC7351 guidelines.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC guidelines and DFT/DFM.

Responsibilities

• Lead fast-paced board design efforts.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams from a board design perspective.
• Travel and onsite deputation within and outside India as required.
• Ensure designs meet high quality standards and schedules.
