Job summary

Danfoss Chennai-based Customer Excellence Lead will drive end-to-end customer experiences across our Sales & Distribution operations. You will ensure customers receive the right products at the right time, backed by responsive, reliable service.

You’ll operate at the crossroads of customer service, sales, supply chain, logistics, and operations, turning challenges into solutions and enhancing customer satisfaction, operational performance, and business growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, sales operations, order management, or order-to-cash in manufacturing/B2B environments.
• Strong understanding of ERP and CRM systems (SAP SD, CRM).
• Proven ability to resolve customer issues and drive cross-functional partnerships.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the resolution of complex customer issues and escalations to strengthen customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
• Drive excellence across order management and order-to-cash processes to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely delivery of customer commitments.
• Partner with sales, supply chain, logistics, finance, and global stakeholders to remove process bottlenecks and improve service performance.
• Analyze customer service metrics and business data to identify opportunities, improve processes, and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and digital tools, to increase efficiency and service quality.

What We're Looking For

• Experience managing customer service, sales operations, order management, or order-to-cash processes in a manufacturing, industrial, or business-to-business environment.
• Strong understanding of ERP and customer relationship management systems, such as SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and CRM platforms.
• Proven ability to resolve customer issues, manage stakeholder expectations, and build effective cross-functional partnerships.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
• Effective communication skills in English and a customer-first approach to decision-making.
