  • Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost management, preferably in IT/ITES.
  • Certifications such as RICS or CICES are desirable.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; able to work under high stress.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct Capex financial services (new fit-outs, logistics and compliance) including day to operations.
  • Cost analysis: evaluate cost data to determine budgets and forecasts.
  • Budget management: develop and manage project budgets with cost controls.
  • Cost control: monitor project costs to stay within budget.
  • Risk management: identify and manage financial risks on construction projects.
  • Reporting: prepare regular financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Cost reports: prepare variance analysis and cost projections.
  • Project closeout: ensure final accounts and claims resolution.

Job description

This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct the India Workplace Capex Logistic financials, Compliances teams. Leading and Managing Project Budgets, including forecasting and monitoring costs. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all projects related costs and financial transactions

Roles Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct the work of Capex financial services (new Fit outs, logistics and compliance) including day to Operations
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze and evaluate cost data to determine project budgets and forecasts
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and aligned with client requirements.
  • Cost Control: Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, ensuring that the project stays within budget.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks associated with construction projects.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports and updates for stakeholders.
  • Cost Reports: Prepare and present cost reports, including variance analysis and cost projections
  • Project Closeout: Ensure all financial aspects of the project are completed satisfactorily, including final accounts and claims resolution.
Professional Technical Skills
  • Educational Background: Typically, a degree in civil engineering, or quantity surveying, MBA in finance Or a CA etc.
  • Minimum 10 Year of experience in quantity surveying, cost management, preferably in the IT and ITES industry.
  • Experience: Experience in IT finance projects, cost estimation, and project management.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as Chartered Institute of Civil Engineers (CICES) or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) are often desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in cost estimation software and project management tools.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Able to deal with high stress situations.
  • Proven track record for improving process efficiencies and solving problems.
Qualification
