Job description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst - Data with domain and process expertise, specializing in translating complex legacy business logic and procedural databases into modernized, efficient business processes and scalable cloud architectures. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between business stakeholders and technical development teams, analyzing existing enterprise workflows, documenting business rules, designing modern process frameworks, and driving digital modernization initiatives from conception through successful implementation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing enterprise business logic, legacy procedural code, and operational workflows, and redesign them into scalable, maintainable, and efficient modern processes
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements, functional specifications, and data mapping rules
• Drive and own end-to-end migration and modernization initiatives, and ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution
• Define acceptance criteria, validate business logic during unit and user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure adherence to best practices in data governance, engineering principles, and quality assurance
• Act as the primary liaison between business units and technical/engineering teams, translate complex technical concepts into clear business value, and manage expectations throughout project lifecycles
• Work independently to champion modernization initiatives, identify operational bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements to optimize data workflows and decision-making

Requirements

• 10-15 years of professional experience in business analysis, business process management, or software/data solution delivery
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL-based procedural code (Oracle PL/SQL), and modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, and/or AWS)
• Familiarity with modern programming and automation concepts such as Python logic, modular applications, and exception handling to effectively collaborate with engineering teams
• Exceptional analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail in dissecting complex business rules and data flows
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven expertise in stakeholder management, requirement workshops, and cross-functional leadership
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and drive complex transformation initiatives from initial design to successful implementation
