Responsibilities

• Analyze and document data flows, data mappings, systems, and data elements across multiple data stores and platforms.
• Reverse engineer legacy systems and implementations and prepare detailed transformation specifications for data migration.
• Define data mapping and transformation rules for migrating data from legacy platforms to modernised platforms.
• Drive Data Stewardship, Data Governance, and Data Quality standards across systems and teams.
• Design and analyze data models, data flows, data lineage, and data transformations for efficient data processing.
• Perform detailed data profiling, including fill-rate analysis, attribute comparisons, integrity, consistency, and accuracy checks.
• Build or leverage tools to perform macro- and micro-level data comparisons and identify migration gaps and anomalies.
• Work extensively with SQL and GCP data stores, particularly BigQuery and Bigtable, for data analysis and validation.
• Develop data insights, dashboards, and recommendations to support business and stakeholder decision-making.
• Possess strong understanding of Commercial/Customer Data domains and recommend appropriate data views based on business requirements.
• Create and maintain data lineage, ontology, reference data, metadata, data models, and transformation specifications.
• Collaborate with business, technology, data engineering, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver objective-driven solutions.
• Work with Snowflake and other cloud data platforms for data analysis and migration activities.
• Leverage Generative AI and AI-powered tools to simplify, automate, and accelerate data analysis and project activities.
• Work in an Agile environment, using tools such as JIRA and Confluence, while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
