Job summary

Milestone-Technologie seeks an experienced Lead Business Analyst to drive discovery, requirements, and validation for cross-functional technology initiatives in Hyderabad. Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading business analysis for complex technology or transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum with backlog management in Jira.
• Proficiency in eliciting requirements, stakeholder analysis, process mapping, data analysis, user stories, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business analysis including discovery, current-state, requirements, and validation.
• Partner with leaders, product owners, architects, engineers, and vendors to define scope and success metrics.
• Translate needs into business requirements, functional specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Apply project management to develop and maintain plans, milestones, dependencies, and forecasts.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor delivery progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions with clear actions.
• Track project financials including planned spend, forecasts, and variances.
• Define KPIs and delivery metrics to guide improvement and reporting.
• Maintain RAID logs, roadmaps, governance materials, and status reports.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and communicate status to leadership.
• Support change management, user readiness, testing, and post-launch stabilization.
• Provide guidance to analysts and ensure delivery standards.

This role serves as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership—translating strategic objectives into clear requirements, actionable plans, and measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate combines deep business analysis expertise with hands-on experience in project planning, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, risk management, financial tracking, and executive reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business analysis activities, including discovery, current-state assessment, requirements elicitation, process mapping, gap analysis, solution definition, and validation.
• Partner with business leaders, product owners, architects, engineering teams, and vendors to define scope, priorities, success measures, and delivery expectations.
• Translate business needs into clear business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation.
• Apply project management discipline to develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource assignments, and delivery forecasts.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and working sessions, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily coordination, reviews, retrospectives, and requirements workshops.
• Monitor delivery progress, identify risks and issues, manage dependencies, and elevate decisions or constraints with clear impact and recommended actions.
• Track project financials, including planned spend, forecasts, actuals, variances, and related reporting.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators and delivery metrics to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Maintain key workstream artifacts, including requirements documentation, RAID logs, decision logs, status reports, roadmaps, and governance materials.
• Prepare concise executive-level presentations and communicate project status, risks, decisions, and outcomes to leadership and delivery teams.
• Support change management, business readiness, user acceptance testing, implementation planning, and post-launch stabilization.
• Provide guidance and quality oversight to business analysts and project team members, promoting consistent standards and delivery practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience as a Lead Business Analyst, Senior Business Systems Analyst, or similar role delivering complex technology or business transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience applying project management methodologies, tools, and controls across the project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices, with practical experience managing backlogs and delivery activities in Jira.
• Proficiency in requirements elicitation, stakeholder analysis, process modelling, data analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution validation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for project planning, analysis, financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to develop clear, executive-ready presentations.
• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with executive leadership, business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party partners.
• Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or equivalent certification.
• Experience supporting enterprise IT programs, cross-functional workstreams, and organizational change initiatives.
• Experience with resource planning, vendor coordination, governance forums, and senior leadership communications.
