Job summary

Persistent Systems Limited in Pune seeks an experienced Lead Business Analyst to bridge business and technology teams, drive requirements, and optimize processes. You will document user stories, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and lead UAT while supporting automation opportunities.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, or Functional Consulting roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Business Analysis, Agile Scrum, and Project Management.
• Proven experience gathering, documenting, and managing complex business requirements.
• Extensive experience writing user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements documents, and functional specifications.
• Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessments.
• Work closely with development, testing, and project teams to ensure business requirements are understood and implemented.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure project alignment.
• Support product owners and project managers in prioritizing requirements and managing deliverables.
• Participate in UAT activities and validate solutions against expectations.
• Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and requirement artifacts.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Provide post-implementation support and end-user guidance.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and solution validation activities.
• Knowledge of project delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, and change management practices.
• Ability to identify business challenges and recommend technology‑enabled solutions.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams in large enterprise environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
