Job summary

DGS India in Mumbai is seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst to drive data management initiatives across enterprise data platforms. You will liaise between data teams and stakeholders, elicit requirements, and ensure the functional relevance of data solutions while guiding testing, documentation, and change management.

The role requires deep expertise in master data management, 10+ years in tech delivery, and strong communication across global teams. Travel up to 25% may be requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 10+ years of technology implementation experience in master data management and enterprise data management including data mastering, data integration, data transformation, system integration, and data analytics.
• 10+ years’ experience documenting requirements for scope management, design, development and testing enablement through traceability
• 10+ years’ experience working with various methodologies including Agile
• Knowledge of master data management and enterprise data management concepts
• Hands on experience with relational design concepts (e.g., table design, table relationships, primary and foreign key designations)
• Experience with user acceptance testing
• SQL skills
• Strong customer service orientation; consistently meet internal and external client commitments
• Strong client management skills; manage through challenging situations resulting in positive outcomes for Clients and Merkle
• Effective communication skills: ability to simplify and structure complex concepts to streamline interactions and highlight key points

Responsibilities

Business Systems Analyst (DCF 40)

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is the key member of the data management team responsible for the functional integrity of the solutions that dentsu implements for enterprise data management. BSA is a liaison between the data team and stakeholders from global, regional, and enterprise technology stakeholders. BSA works closely with dentsu’s business and technology stakeholders to elicit solution requirements in support of dentsu’s business goals and the associated enterprise data capabilities. BSA drives requirements feasibility analysis based on business priorities and data availability. BSA provides guidance to the technology implementation team on behalf of the dentsu’s business operations team and ensures solution business relevance and functional accuracy.
