Job summary

Tarento is expanding its Bengaluru office and seeks Lead Backend Engineers experienced in Java or Python. You will own end-to-end architecture for distributed microservices, define SLOs/SLIs, and drive observability while mentoring peers.

Must build scalable, reliable services with production ownership and deep system-design expertise. The role emphasizes delivery of high-throughput systems, fault tolerance, and performance optimization in a product-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Java or Python with distributed systems and scalable services.
• Strong fundamentals in DS/Algo and system design.
• Product-company experience building scalable services.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and author HLD/LLD docs.
• Build scalable microservices using Java (Spring Boot) or Python.
• Design systems for high throughput, low latency, and fault tolerance.
• Optimize performance using caching, sharding, load balancing, concurrency.
• Define SLOs/SLIs and drive observability with metrics/logs/tracing.
• Lead incident resolution, RCA, and preventive engineering.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.

About the Role:

• Hiring Lead Backend Engineers experienced in Java or Python.
• Strong in distributed systems, microservices, HLD/LLD, and production ownership.
