Job summary

V2 Solutions in India is seeking an experienced production support engineer to join our team in Bangalore or Gurgaon. You will analyze and resolve complex production issues, work with development and QA to address bugs, and ensure services remain available within SLAs.

The role emphasizes DevOps expertise, cloud services, and IT infrastructure knowledge, with a strong focus on reporting, RCA, and continuous improvement. Exceptional communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in production support, cloud services, and IT operations.
• Strong expertise in .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, WebAPI, ReactJS, HTML, SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Azure, DevOps, ITIL, and IT infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and resolve production and non-production issues within SLAs.
• Identify severity levels of customer-impacting issues and respond accordingly.
• Investigate system logs to resolve production issues and restore services.
• Provide RCA to prevent recurrence and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot new software versions in production and non-production environments.
• Work with development and QA to address software bugs.
• Identify trends in reported issues and propose solutions.
• Experienced in DevOps and IT infrastructure management.

Your role

• Analyse and resolve production non-production issues/incidents within set SLAs
• Identify the severity level of the customer-impacting issue react accordingly
• Investigate system logs to resolve production issues and restore services
• Provide RCA for production issues to avoid recurrenceRegularly communicate incident/request status to impacted teams/customers
• Deploy, monitor troubleshoot new software versions in production non-production environments
• System debugging experience and skills
• Work closely with development and QA team to address software bugs
• Identify trends in reported issues, report them and suggest possible solutions
• Experienced in DevOps
• Identify/Design procedures to eliminate manual processes in the team
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understands software architecture
• Knowledge of Windows, Networks, Firewalls, File Shares, DNS, TCP/IP
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure
• Good reporting skills to report and explain issues clearly and efficiently
• Good documentation skills to write structured technical documents with diagrams and explanations
• System monitoring experience
• Good interpersonal communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English
• Good team player
• If need be, should be ready to develop software enhancements and/or carry out bug fixes
• Willingness to learn new technologies

About you

• Should have 10 12 years of experience
• Experienced working on cloud services
• Experienced in database operation
• Experienced working in production support, ops support maintenance projects
• Experienced in ticket management in an ITSM/helpdesk system
• Mandatory: Microsoft .Net, C#, ASP.Net Core and WebAPI ReactJS, HTML SQL Server and Postgres Cloud Services (Preferably Microsoft Azure)
• Familiarity with networking systems and protocols Git PowerShell, and Bash Docker / Azure containers
• Desired: MySQL and Mongo
• Experienced working in production support, ops support maintenance projects
• GitHub Testing approaches such as TDD and BDD (Nunit, Jest)
• Good knowledge of Python and Django
• Experienced with Azure DevOps Exposure to Agile Methodologies GIS system ITIL process familiarity ETL
• Qualification and Certification: B.E CS, Graduate with relevant experience IT industry certifications such as Microsoft Azure would be an added advantage
