Job summary

Adani Electricity is seeking a Security Automation Engineer to lead end-to-end planning, design, implementation, and commissioning of security systems across projects.

You will own ACS, PIDS, CCTV and Facial Recognition systems, integrating platforms into a centralized security ecosystem and coordinating SOC operations to ensure reliable monitoring.

The role requires 5–6 years of security design experience, CCNA preferred, and strong leadership to guide engineers and ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communications, CSE or equivalent.
• CCNA certification preferred.
• 5–6 years of experience in security systems design and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, design, implementation and commissioning of security automation systems.
• Own security automation solutions across sites for reliability and performance.
• Manage ACS, PIDS, FRS and CCTV/Video Surveillance systems.
• Design, integrate and optimize security platforms into a centralized ecosystem.
• Coordinate surveillance architecture, routing, recording and SOC monitoring.
• Monitor health, troubleshoot issues and minimize downtime.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

• Plan PoC demos and pilot deployments before large-scale rollout.

• Take ownership of all security automation solutions deployed at sites, ensuring seamless functionality and reliability.
• Manage Access Control Systems (ACS), Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS), Facial Recognition Systems (FRS), and CCTV/Video Surveillance Systems.
• Design, integrate, and optimize multiple security platforms into a unified and centralized security ecosystem.
• Coordinate surveillance architecture and ensure efficient routing, recording, and monitoring of camera feeds at the Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Monitor system health and proactively troubleshoot technical issues to minimize operational downtime.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring system failures.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance site security.
• Drive technology enhancement initiatives and continuous improvement projects across sites.
• Engage with technology partners and vendors for product evaluation and solution assessments.
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate PoC demonstrations and pilot deployments before large-scale implementation.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), or equivalent discipline.

Preferred Certification

• CCNA Certification preferred.
