Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Vadodara is seeking a Lead/Area Lead in Mechanical Engineering to design and engineer HVAC systems for offshore and onshore oil & gas facilities. You will perform load calculations, duct and piping sizing, and oversee drawings while coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure project success.

The role requires 15–25 years of experience, strong knowledge of HVAC software (HAP, AutoCAD, Revit), and familiarity with ASHRAE/SMACNA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, AutoCAD, Revit).
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA).
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer HVAC systems for oil & gas facilities according to project specs and standards.
• Perform detailed HVAC load calculations, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and equipment selection.
• Prepare and review HVAC drawings, layouts, and schematics.
