Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Lead - AC Chiller Sustaining & Value Engineer to drive design, development and localization of chiller products. You will lead VE efforts, optimize components, and support troubleshooting and field issues.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, ETO/MTO customization, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as AHRI, BEE, and ASME. Strong leadership and delivery Excellence are required.

Qualifications

• Chiller types include Screw, Scroll and Centrifugal.
• 8–12 years of experience in Product and Value Engineering.
• Thermal and performance engineering with AHRI/BEE/ASME knowledge.
• Design-to-Value focus for cost reduction and optimization.
• Strong troubleshooting and RCA capabilities.
• Experience with ETO/MTO customization.
• Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-regional collaborations.
• Execution discipline across projects, risk and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Product Engineering – Design, development & localization.
• Value Engineering – Drive VAVE and product optimization for Chillers.
• Troubleshooting support and RCA.

Requirements
